No Dumping

By June 26, 2018February 2nd, 2022No Comments

Dematic (Colby) launched its official dumping challenge with the Anti-Dumping Commission in August of 2017 in support of itself, the Australian racking industry – including Elbowroom – and the Australian steel manufacturing industry. This applicatNow, on the 18th June 2018 the Anti-Dumping Commission has released its Preliminary Affirmative Determination (PAD) on the STEEL PALLET RACKING dumping challenge.

The PAD is worth a read.  It refutes a few misconceptions and outright mistruths, which have been propagated by some of those importers who have profited through the demise of Australian manufacturers.  It is also a slap across the face to those Australian importers and their foreign partners who have played their part in “material injury” to our Australian industry – in some cases destroying worthy Australian companies – our children’s future.

While I could point out many parts of the PAD of particular interest to me and our Pallet Racking industry players, I’m sure any patriotic Aussie will find their own points of interest in the document.

Whatever your interest may be, even if nothing so far, I would encourage your review of the chart in section 7.4 of the PAD

The PAD public document can be viewed here.

If you wish to follow the progress and perhaps fallout post PAD, you may find the following link of interest from No. 036 on.

Congratulations and thanks to Dematic (Colby) and friends.
